Community Store, Hampshire
This project was done on a tiny budget! The money was raised by the community to replace a village shop that was closing down. So there was no money for fancy lighting. We were tasked with finding an economic solution. We still applied the basic principles of good lighting but made use of the natural light and the reflective surfaces to increase the effective light in the space.
A very large percentage of the budget had to be used for emergency lighting to ensure that the shop complied with health and safety requirements.
